Irys: a data-first programmable datachain logoIrys: a data-first programmable datachain
Storage, execution, and verification on one base layer. Hub page plus Solana upload path. @irys/upload 0.0.15. @irys/upload-solana 0.1.8.
devrels.xyz/a/312Irys is a blockchain built to store large volumes of data onchain, for flexible durations, and to let smart contracts use that data during execution. The intro hub is store, build, run, learn. Quick NPM on that page is @irys/upload plus @irys/upload-ethereum.
Data is the center. Execution operates around it. Storage, execution, and verification sit in one base layer as distinct components. Contracts run in an EVM-compatible environment and can reference stored data. Storage can be permanent or for a defined term. Costs are designed to reflect physical hardware.
Solana as a payment token
Uploads can be paid in Solana. Node SDK: @irys/upload 0.0.15 and @irys/upload-solana 0.1.8. Browser: @irys/web-upload with @irys/web-upload-solana and WebSolana.
import { Uploader } from "@irys/upload"
import { Solana } from "@irys/upload-solana"
const getIrysUploader = async () => {
const irysUploader = await Uploader(Solana).withWallet(process.env.PRIVATE_KEY)
return irysUploader
}import { WebUploader } from "@irys/web-upload"
import { WebSolana } from "@irys/web-upload-solana"
const irysUploader = await WebUploader(WebSolana).withProvider(wallet)The same @irys/upload-solana package also exports EclipseEth for Eclipse-eth. That is a separate token class in the docs, next to Solana.

npm i -g @alchemy/cli then alchemy auth. From there: balances, ERC-20 tokens, NFTs, swap, bridge, simulate, solana send, solana rpc, webhooks, app management — all from the terminal. --json and --no-interactive make every command pipeline-safe.
An EVM developer's biggest Solana hurdle isn't Rust — it's the account model. SolScript lets you write Solidity and compiles it to standard Anchor, auto-deriving PDAs from your mappings. Genuinely clever, and refreshingly honest (you can eject to Rust). Where it shines, and where the abstraction leaks.
Update every @dynamic-labs/* package together. sdk-react-core 5.7.0. New React apps can use @dynamic-labs-sdk/react-hooks. Embedded-wallet showdown stays.
