UsePaid: route token creator fees to an X handle logoUsePaid: route token creator fees to an X handle
Docs at usepaid.app/docs. Recipient does not sign up. Held balances last 7 days. Laso prepaid stays.
devrels.xyz/a/322UsePaid is a fee bridge. A deployer points a token's creator fees at the UsePaid treasury. The token description names an X handle. UsePaid claims those fees on chain, pays 80% in dollars through X Money, and spends 20% buying $PAID and burning it. The recipient does not sign up and does not connect a wallet.
X Money decides who can receive. UsePaid does not add a second switch. Laso prepaid cards stay on their own piece: Laso agent prepaid cards.
Venues
| Venue | Chain | Status | How fees are pointed |
|---|---|---|---|
| pump.fun | Solana | Live. $PAID is issued here | After create, fee sharing at 100%, then revoke authority |
| pons.family | Robinhood Chain | Live | At creation, as the fee wallet. Only the current recipient can move it |
| four.meme | BNB Chain | Not supported | Being explored. May never be |
Split, payout rail, and ledger are the same on both live venues. Whole fee only. Permanent only. Partial share is not payable. On pump.fun the token is detected but not payable until the sharing config authority is revoked.
Name the recipient
Put this line in the token description, exactly, anywhere in the text:
Fees to @handle via UsePaidIf the line is missing, UsePaid falls back to the first handle in the description, then to the X account the token is linked to. pons.family descriptions cap at 256 characters. pump.fun allows more. The recipient does not need to agree first.
Claims and payouts
Fees accrue, then UsePaid claims on a schedule (not per trade). Each claim is keyed on its transaction signature. A failed claim creates no obligation and is retried. $PAID itself does not split: all of its own fees stay as protocol treasury. UsePaid adds no fee on top of the 20%.
Recipient share pays at milestones: $5, then $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, then every $1,000. Each crossing sends the full balance from a pre-funded float. @UsePaid replies in public with the amount and the token.
Any X account can be named. If it cannot receive yet, the balance is held for 7 days. Open X Money in that window and it pays on the next run. After 7 days the held balance is recycled into the $PAID buyback. Stopping payments is an X Money incoming-payments setting, not a UsePaid opt-out.
$PAID
$PAID lives on Solana. Protocol cut from other chains crosses once, at the treasury, then buys on the open market and burns. Holding $PAID does not change the split, who can launch, or who gets paid. Recipient dollars do not cross that bridge.
