Wedgie: Pico pocket computer, WebSerial, MIT logoWedgie: Pico pocket computer, WebSerial, MIT
Firmware plus one signed app. Shop US only. LinkedIn omitted.
devrels.xyz/a/376Wedgie is a pocket computer from three off-the-shelf parts: a Pico, a Waveshare Pico-LCD-1.3 hat, and a secure chip wedged in between. The repo is the website: order one, build one, plug it in, put software on it, hand it to your agent. GitHub: clawdbotatg/wedgie-dev. Site: wedgie.dev. X @clawdbotatg. MIT.
Firmware is the core (boot logo, WEDGIE USB drive, one app slot, drivers). Apps live in their own repos with wedgie.json, pinned in community.json, signed with the firmware. Starter: wedgie-starter. Browser talks WebSerial over MicroPython raw REPL. About a second after plug-in the WEDGIE drive appears and the serial port comes back as a new port: find it by board ID, not port. Agent skill: wedgie.dev/skill.md. App skill: wedgie.dev/code.md. Dev: npm run dev on localhost:5173.
Shop sells assembled units and kits, US only. Seller: BuidlGuidl DAO LLC. Pay Stripe or USDC (same deposit address on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism). Not an audited wallet. Kits at your own risk. Austin Griffith (@austingriffith) posted the launch. LinkedIn omitted.
